I've loved reading your teaching posts. As a 1st grade teacher I know what it's like to pour yourself into your kiddos and classroom. I really admire what you're doing in NYC! Teaching is no easy profession. Especially when you have kids that give you compliments like the one you posted here! Ha! I can't tell you how many times my 1st graders have come up with compliments like the one you just posted... last year when I was pregnant those "compliments" were the best! They were always so kind to point out how "big" I was getting!
